When we were visiting my parents in Indiana, we spent a couple hours on Labor Day with Eddie and Jamie Lapina at their house in St John - only about 10 minutes from my mom and dad's house. Our girls caught on to Bro. Eddie's craziness right away, and had a hilarious time! Then he made the "mistake" of showing them how to take pictures with his iPhone!! Their daughter, Stacy, was there with her husband. She read books to the girls, and they love her forevermore! Notice Bro. Eddie's feet. He was tickling the little ones, so Stacy told them that he has ticklish feet. That brought on an all-out effort to get his shoes (and eventually his socks) off! He found it so funny, that we were laughing more at him than at the kids! He'll make a great grandpa! (Yes, Stacy is expecting.) It was a fun visit, and he just sent us the pics from his phone - so that's why I'm posting them now!
Oh.my.word. Wonderful pictures! I wondered what happened to his other shoe. Doesn't seem that he could be a grandfather already. =] How wonderful that you all got to be with them. Special.
