Pool #3 and Richardson, TX

We were blessed to be able to swim in yet another beautiful pool this week. The family who owns this one was on vacation this week. We certainly enjoyed the bubbling spa with the fountain, as well as the large beautiful (heated) pool!
In this weather you really don't NEED the water to be so warm, but it was a luxury.

On Saturdays we've been going out as a family, driving in various communities, towns, cities, etc.... to get to know the areas around here. Therefore, Dunkin Donuts has become a Saturday morning tradition. :)
......as has the picnic lunch at a park. So far, Johnny has found some beautiful parks to stop at!
Today we went to the Richardson, Texas area. Daddy and Mother lived in Richardson 40 years ago, and Kim was born there. We were able to find the house they lived in, and took some pictures for my parents! The house is still very beautiful and the community is lovely/charming, even after 40 years! From the e-mails I've received back from Mother and my older siblings, this place holds some very sweet memories.

  1. I'm sorry, folks. I now realize that I need to introduce Rachel and John to Krispy Kreme....I apologize that their taste in donuts are not up to snuff. ;-) ;-) We will try to cure it by next Saturday. ;-)

  2. You mean there's something better than Dunkin Donuts???? We've only found one DD in NZ, and that's in Auckland. ;(

  3. Weeeeeeeeell, our humble opinion is that Dunkin Donuts CAKE donuts are truly the best of the best (when they're fresh). And nothing sits better on the hungry stomach than a chocolate frosted chocolate donut. (You know it's me, when you read that many references to chocolate in one sentence!!!) However, Krispy Kreme does have quite a good thing going when you stand aside the line and they hand you a hot freshly-glazed yeast donut...and another....and another..... aaaahhh, sweet memories of Lafayette, IN! Haven't had a hot one like that since then, and I'm game if you want to take me to see how they compare to the Dunkin Donut I had on Saturday, Heather!! LOL! Toby and Beverly were always giving the same argument regarding the DD vs. KK. I'm yet to be convinced. MAYBE if KK could somehow incorporate some chocolate into theirs, I might consider becoming an advocate! :D rb

  4. Well, Dad as our resident Expert de Donuts puts in his vote for KK. He especially recommends a dozen with a quart of milk.
