New Baby Horse





Well Emelie's certainly happy today!  Her horse, Daisy, gave birth this morning to a little colt, which Emelie named Duke.  We got there within a half hour after he was born, (certain ones still in pajamas!) and Emelie was just loving the whole experience!!  Well, we all were, 

but this is Emelie's dream come true.  She has prayed for a horse for over 5 years....and suddenlly out of the blue, someone gave our family a horse!  We gave Daisy to Emelie for her birthday in December, and at that time, no one knew she was pregnant!  No one knows even now who the stallion was!??!?!  Anyway, it was 2 gifts in one, and what fun!  
She's over there again now.  It's amazing how fast chores and schoolwork can be accomplished when a baby colt is waiting to see you again! 


 

Pajamas and boots!!!

    Emelie looks so grown up. And, congratulations on the new colt. How exciting! So good to see your family blog. I'm just getting caught up again on the blogs that we follow. The pictures on this post are precious. Love the one too, where the little sister looks like she's telling a secret to Chase!
