Eden Salve

I have to say, this is a product worth buying!!! I'd seen it advertised for a long time, and read all the glowing testimonials, but never plunked down the money til Emelie got into some poison ivy a couple months ago, and nothing seemed to be helping the rash. When I called to order it, I asked if this would definitely help poison ivy, and Shoshanna told me "some folks have found good results with it for poison ivy!" OKAY! Sounded a bit inconclusive, but it was a last-ditch effort, so I bought some.

Since that time, we have found it to work visible wonders on all sorts of cuts, scrapes, and bug bites. We have fire ants around here, and this has been the first remedy that really takes the sting out of the bite! Same good result for mosquito bites. And yes, it dried up and healed the poison ivy! It soothes and heals chapped skin, like from wind burn or similar. It takes the pain out of a burn from a hot pan, and heals the area very quickly! Haven't had the chance to try it on sunburn yet. It actually makes a fever blister jump from "starting to fester up" to "almost done" without going through the horrible, open-sore, ugly stage. That's a miracle!

The ingredients are pretty simple too!

Here's the write-up from ShoshannaGardens.

With a mix of many herbs and natural ingredients I formulated this salve to numb pain as well as heal and soothe with its allantoin properties. It is an astringent, which draws out infection and poisonous bites. It is an antiseptic, and fights bacteria. When you need it, Nature’s Healing touch is there for you!

How It Works:
Apply salve generously to cleaned wounds, rashes, insect bites, boils, and chapped, cracked, or dry skin. Apply as often as needed.

Ingredients:
Echinacea root, comfrey leaf, propolis, plantain leaf, echinacea purpurea, yarrow flower, rosemary leaf, beeswax, pure olive oil and grapefruit seed extract.
