Fort Worth Botanical Gardens with Grandma

During Grandma's visit last week, we went to the FW Botanical Gardens!
It was a wonderful time!
Of course Grandma enjoyed herself! She was in her element!
But the rest of us had just as much fun!
Grandma could offer some interesting tidbits about various plants/flowers to those interested....and there was so much acreage for the children to roam in. It was absolutely gorgeous, but not so pristine that the kids couldn't take off their shoes and run through the paths! :)
In addition to the various themed gardens, there was an area of woods where there were beautiful trails, little streams to wade in, bridges to trot over, etc. So, while Mother and I went through the extensive rose gardens nearby, the children romped through the woods!
The time flew by! Not one of us could believe we'd been there for over 2.5 hours!
A memory I treasure!
It was a day of joy and delight!
