Blueberries....free!!

This summer the Lord has given us so much fresh fruit FREE!!! Every time we turn around, it's a new surprise. One day we went to a U-pick to get some blackberries. We picked 3 buckets full - way more than I anticipated, but they were huge berries, and the buckets/baskets filled up super fast! When I was ready to pay for them, the lady told us that we could pay for each bucket, or we could consider it "picking on the halves", which means we give them half, we keep half, and we pay nothing! I said, SURE! Then she mentioned they do the same thing with blueberries, so we headed for the blueberry patch! :) We went back to that farm several times for berries. They also had a fabulous swing hung from a very tall limb. It was quite exhilirating to ride on it- felt like flying, so we usually stayed an extra half hour or so to enjoy it. Since then, we found a family just 5 minutes from us who has more blueberries than they can use in their back yard, so they graciously let us pick as much as we want....free! We have gone several times in the last 2 weeks! Additionally, we've been given blue grapes, apples, melons, and peaches! This week I've rec'd tomatoes and zuchini and yellow squash and more grapes! Have you ever felt that you were "overflowing with blessings"? God is so good.
